Would Rank 1, 4gb (1600 MHz ddr3 1.35 v) dual channel with rank 2, 8gb ( 1600MHz ddr3 1.35 v)? Or would run as single channel in best case scenario?
My thinking is leaning towards the fact that a rank 2 memory is only using one side at any givin time but would like some more insight in why it would not work.
This question is hypothetical wether with identical brands or not.
