I might be getting the 10 series strix edition cards in the near future, I saw that you can use the fan headers of the gpu so that your case fans will mimic the 0db fan mode of the gpu, while this is nice, i am afraid that it will turn my setup into negative pressure, since only my cpu fans will work (noctua nhd-14) any thoughts? thanks!

do you mean the 0db fan mode?

My plan is to connect the pwm fan hub from my Phanteks case to the gpu 4 pin header then, connect it to my fans,

I meant the on board hubs, didnt realize those were a feature on the newer models.

In my opinion running the case fans so they sync with the zero dBA mode will defeat its purpose. Every time the fans turn off the case is going to heat up quickly from the processor, meaning the case fans will probably have to come back on. All you really would be doing is trading fan noise when the card does idle for less idle time.

How many fans are you running? Maybe hooking up half or so of them to the card would be a solid choice. Lower noise while still having airflow for the processor.

Disagreed. Case fans play role in positive/negative air pressure - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a12aDCxrcts

And i know from my experience positive airflow results in less dust inside case.

Just don't bother with fan header in the gpu. Do you want them? Maybe. Do you need them? No.

Got 2 noctua NFa-15 as intakes, and 2 corsair af140 quiet edition as exhaust, I am also thinking about making the top intake fan same as the fan speed of my cpu, but not sure if there any 3-way pwm separators? the half-half is also a good idea, I might try it when i get the gpu :) now, its just a matter of what two fans will run and what will not my case is the Phanteks Evolv ATX,
