I don't know whether to get an i5 6600k and 1060 for $2000,
au.pcpartpicker.com/list/3sWPXH

or an i7 6700k and 1070 for $2150
au.pcpartpicker.com/list/C2NW4C

(prices weren't taken from PC Part Picker but PC Case Gear, feel free to leave a suggestion for good Australian PC stores and sites as well)

I only game moderately but like to have smooth game play (I play Minecraft, GTA V, CS:GO, and other titles similar to them) and I also edit some videos but not very often.

By the way this is going to be my first PC but I know I like these games from playing on my friends computer a fair bit and in case you didn't already realize I am from from Australia.

Thank you so much to anyone that helps I am a bit of a noob.

If your not going to game heavily, I will suggest to go for i5 build if will be upgrading in like 2 years. Or go with i7 build if you are not going to upgrade i like 3 years or more.

The i5-6600k + GTX 1060 has higher quality parts compared to the i7-6700k + GTX 1070 build, hence why the price difference between the two builds is suprisingly minimal. Both PC's are powerful for you needs, with the i7-6700k build being even signficantly stronger than than the i5-6600k build. The i5-6600k build does coming with a better CPU Cooler, motherboard, SSD and power supply though.
