Please give your opinion about this gaming build

Could you please give me your opinion about the following build? I was initially planning to buy it around Christmas, however i accidentally found out 980ti-s were running low, so i ordered the last(in my country) 980 ti ( ) and would like to now build a pc around it.

- The pc will be used almost exclusively for heavy gaming
- Heat generated is really important, because i live in a warm and dusty country.
- I will never OC
- I want the build to be as balanced as possible to prevent any bottlenecks. My experience so far was with a good gpu and a lousy cpu and then a good cpu and a lousy GPU. I am no longer a student so costs are not much of an issue now ^^.
- I will game on 1080p, the overkill is for futureproofing

Link to parts for reference (i will not be buying them from there).

Hard drive

SSD for Windows

I intend to use the already 3 present coolers from the Case and the out of the box cpu cooler.
My OS is windows 7 ult and i intend to keep it, provided Samsung migration software does the clonning properly

Please share your opinions

Kind regards

If your not going to overclock, you dont need a cpu cooler, a Z170 mobo and a K processor.
  2. Hi Trafalgar,

Thanks for your answer the 980ti Asus is a must, as i already ordered it. Everything else is yet to be ordered. I picked 6700k because of the base 4k frequency. The z170 seem to have cool features concerning heating, sound and ports in general, though i am no expert here. Is ram frenquency important? Is Seagate barracuda better than the WE Black edition?
  3. Cancel the order for the 980 ti if you can, the GTX 1070 is better and alot cheaper. I wouldnt say barracuda is better than WE Black, but the price of the black over the barracuda is not justifiable.
