Hi Guys,
I'm building an Entry/Mid level gaming system, I am not sure which CPU to get, from what I know the 4170 seems to be the better choice but just wanting to ensure that my the 4170 is the best for me or if there are any other CPU's which are better for a similar price :)

Thanks

Solution
Shitty video card that won't play anything really, even Tibia.
You've also put in a very low quality power supply and an outdated CPU architecture.
In this regard, never use GPU/CPU boss, use userbenchmarks, as CPU/GPU boss uses very inaccurate measurements, and is extremely unreliable.
HDD size is absolutely TINY, go for at least 1TB, and you haven't included a case.
This is the absolute BARE minimum I would recommend for 1080p gaming.

Hi, Thanks for the reply, when looking of CPU Boss etc the 4170 comes out on top for most aspects, also I dont need a monitor, mouse, keyboard and OS as I have all those already. Im keeping the budget minimal for now as currently im not a huge pc gamer and the games I do play such as Tibia, are not very high end graphic games. I ideally want to keep the build £250-£300.

Below was a quick mock up parts can be configured, under £300, I know the GPU is not on par with most but like I say the games I play are no more than Nintendo DS Graphics at best lol and also its a better combination over integrated.

**CPU** | [Intel Core i3-4170 3.7GHz Dual-Core Processor] (Use of the I3-6100 Saves even more money as its a cheaper CPU)
**Motherboard** | [Gigabyte GA-H81M-DS2 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard]
**Memory** | [Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory]
**Storage** | [Western Digital Caviar Blue 320GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive]
**Video Card** | [Gigabyte GeForce GT 730 2GB Video Card]
**Power Supply** | [Corsair Builder 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply]

I have a laptop that I currently play this on but it only has Intel HD Graphics (It works but has a little stutter to it and the CPU heats up as its not a gaming laptop

my friend said i can buy his EVGA GTX 750 ti FTW edition for £40, would this be a beneficial swap over the MSI? also I have a case sorry (won it at work haha) "NZXT H440", deduction of them would put me at around £305 with your current build if the GPU is worth buying ofc

Also thanks for the help with this, appreciate it - anytime I can get educated on this stuff is a bonus :)
