So I'm upgrading my computers CPU and GPU and I was wondering if my A8 7600 would be good with my 750ti. Will it be enough to run the newest game titles coming out (even at minimum because I like gameplay more) I have checked battlefield 1 and its 2% off 100%. Can I get some considerations if there's another CPU that can fit an FM2+ and be good enough? (And I don't need 1080p. 1020x768p is good enough for fps)

The games I want to play are next gen such as:

Battlefield 1
Dying Light
Dead island 2 (if released)
Overwatch
No mans sky (I'v played it, it's a let down but still kept to what they said)

Solution
Socket FM2+ doesn't have any better CPUs. There are a few that are clocked very slightly higher (~2-5%) but you won't notice any difference.

I imagine your chip will run these games alright. Expect dips in framerates possibly into the 20's and 30's at times, but for the most part they'll be playable and enjoyable.

EDIT: Resolution has nothing to do with your CPU - the CPU basically just determine what your maximum framerate can be, regardless of what GPU you have.

The x4 880k is the most powerful CPU available for the FM2+ platform, but as Ecky suggests you probably won't really see a huge improvement.

I game with an x4 760k and GTX 750ti combo myself. At 1080p with some more modern games, frame rates do drop to the 20s. Changing to a lower resolution, for me, does increase the framerate in a few games. It's fine for older games or less CPU demanding games.
