Hello, I was thinking of upgrading my 550Ti to a better card. I'm currently tossing up the following cards. Points to consider:
*Australian currency
*Price list here: http://cdn.msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf
*I prefer MSi's Gaming X coolers
*As far as I can see, only the RX 480 on the AMD side has a MSi cooler based on my local store's site.
*Most Nvidia cards have MSi coolers avalible.
I'd like to stick close to the $450AUD mark, but will consider more based off of price/performance and if it's a good investment for the future.
*I'm currently at 1080p 75Hz, but I'm not planning on upgrading soon unless I see a really good deal or a giveaway.
*I'd prefer getting a card that is more money now that I won't have to upgrade for a long time over a cheaper card in the short term but having to upgrade more regularly.

Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce 550Ti (2 fan)
Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty H170 Performance
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws-V 4GBx2
PSU: Antec Edge 750w
Monitor: Samsung S24D300 24" 1080p 75Hz Overclocked
Case: Antec GX300 Windowed

I don't particularly like Nvidia because of all the dodgy marketing they've done (970 3.5GB, gimping their own cards to make AMD's look worse, still closed-source whereas AMD is open, etc) but if they're the better option then I'll go for them.
