Hey all! I have this gaming computer that my ex built a couple years ago, beautiful thing. But yesterday as I was playing World of Warcraft it froze, shutdown, and restarted itself and went straight the bios screen. Was showing the overclocking part of it. And then from there it wouldn't go any further then a black screen saying "reboot insert boot device and press a key" (something like that) I have no clue what it was talking about. I brought it to geek squad at best buy and the woman couldn't even get the monitor cable to work to do a diagnostic test! (Which I thought was ridiculous). Any help would be great, without having to spend a buttload of money to fix! I have a feeling it's just a small issue that me not being so tech smart could do.

Solution
"reboot insert boot device and press a key" usually means it can't find your storage. You may have lost your HDD/SSD. If you can get back into the bios, I would reset it to defaults and make sure it recognizes your storage.
