When does overvolting become damaging?

In an attempt to convince myself that I don't need a pascal card, I am seeing how far I can push my 780 classified. Yesterday I got a stable clock of about 1240MHz at about 70C. Is it safe to increase voltage and overclock until I hit ~80C?

Solution
You can generally push the cpu or gpu voltage a bit but don't touch ram voltages as I've personally broken a card messing with ram voltage, that clock is very good for a 700 series card, especially if it doesn't crash when gaming.
