I have gotten miself an Rx 470 nitro+.
Now the thermal target, for what i understand, for this card is 75c.
While gaming, temps literally are 74-76c, while the fans are at ~30%.
Now, would that be too much for an everyday temperature?
If so i would manually set a curve for the fans, or even better i would set the thermal target to 70c, if i could find the setting..

Any help is appreciated :)

Solution
Circuit degradation from temperature takes literally decades to show on a good chip. You could run it at 90C 24/7 and you still wouldn't have any problems by the time you buy a new card.

I plan to use this card for many years to come, so its perfectly safe to keep it at 75 degrees at all times, because even if playing league of legends, the temperature is 75 degrees because the fans work only on 10%?

the nitro+ version from sapphire are packed with pretty good coolers. if i were you, i'd adjust the fan until i hit 65c or below relative to the noise it's making. download a GPU burn tool, then use afterburner. monitor the temps and fan speed.

I really like the thermal target option, its set by default to have a thermal target of 75c.
I just wish i could change it to have 65 or 70c and increase coolers more..
cant find the option in trixx 3.0 beta
