Hello everyone!

First i want to apologise if i have any grammatical errors in my typing my english isn't that developed. now over to the problem:

SO! recently (4 days ago) i bought a second hand card from a guy (msi gtx gaming oc) was a very nice person i got the box and everyhting and he even ran some benchmarks with it.

now here is my thing I run a very old pc. i only bought this card cus im going to actually build a game pc next month so please dont judge me :)

then installed my gpu all went dandy then downloaded a game off steam and started playing it and after an hour it just without any weird sounds, loops or my pc making weird noises it gives me a blank screen and just says (HDMI power saving mode) and the screen just goes black (as in the screen just turns itself off as it would when in sleep mode) and my graphic card is still powered on ( the fans do turn themselves off and the gpu is not over heated at all and the only thing i can do is reboot it!)

now also IT ONLY DOES THIS WHEN GAMING ANY GAME FOR A FACT.
when im not gaming and just do internetting and youtube videos it can run for 24/7 now aswell i once did a heaven benchmark and it just 3 times in a row completed it on extreme without crashing!! while today i did it and it crashed after the 6th scene! so it kinda randomises i guess? sometimes i can play for 20 mins sometimes for 1 hour and a half.

i would love some advice from you guys/girls/transgenders/anypersonthatisatechy!

My pc:

intel core quad q8200 2.33mhz
motherboard: Packard Bell BV MCP73 ULTH91504906 1.XX (though on my motherboard it says FOXCONN)
4 gig of ddr 2 ram
gpu: msi gtx 970 oc gaming
psu: corsair cx450m (bought it recently)
hdd seagate 750gb
windows 10 64 bit (recently reinstalled windows on a usb flash from windows 7 32 bit to windows 10 64 bit)

fixes i tried:
underclocking gpu
flashing bios
DDU in safe mode plus reinstal drivers
turning fan speed higher
power limiter to 110
taking the card in and out and plugging out and in the pcie cabels (made sure to press em in correctly)

none of them worked so far

windows event viewer gives critical error though Kernel-power 41 (63)

im very sorry for writing so terribly much but i try to give as much information possible so that its not too much of a bother!

i hope its either my PSU or just my pc being so old since i bought it for 200 euros and i cant RMA it anymore. neither would i want to sell it to someone (since that would be stupid to do)

greets! ill be actively watching this forum so my responds will probably be fast.
