Good evening everyone.

Ok so i got some parts for a PC build and im trying to bring it all together(sadly im having a rougher time than i expected).Anyway im really jammed on the PSU part.
My mobo(MSI z170a carbon pro) has JPWR1(24 pin) and JPWR2(8pin).
The question is do these both need to be connected?
In my PSU(Superflower 650w LEADEX GOLD) i can find a 20+4 pin cable,a 8pin cable labeled cpu2,a 4+4 cable labeled cpu1.
Sooo..which goes where?

Solution
You can still find the manual online:
https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/support/Z170A-GAMING-PRO-CARBON.html#down-manual

MSI has it's own naming to the 24 pin and 8 pin. It's self explanatory that the 24 pin plug goes into the 24 pin socket on the motherboard. With your power supply, you are given two EPS cables: one 8 pin and one 4+4 pin. You can either of them, doesn't matter which.
If the motherboard only requires one 4 pin cpu then you would use the 4+4 pin cable.

Obviously is always more convinient to ask before reading the freaking manual which i thought i lost...sheesh
The thing i still dont know is which of the 8pined cables should i plug to jpwr2?
One is labelled 8pin EPS 12V connector the other 8pin(4+4 pin)EPS/ATX 12v connector.
Whats the difference between those 2?
Googling it a bit i saw that the 4+4 is for old cpus that had 4 pin power cables?Am i right?
