Crosshair IV Extreme Crosslinx?

just picked this board up which features crosslinx texhnology. put in a few different gpus. tried a few different configurations. have all the pci switches set to on position, but none of the supplementing gpus are reporting any activity and im not noticing any performance gains. Is there something special that needs to be done to enable crosslinx? I looked through the bios but didnt see anything. thanks

Crosslinx, as I understand it, is just cpie lane sharing so that motherbds that could not offer multiiple16 lane pcie slots now can. After that your application needs to support using multiple GPU's. many Adobe products do this automatically. Most games do not. You may wish to setup crossfire/sli or set a gpu up as a dedicated physX processor but this need to conform the the same 'rules' as non-crosslinx motherbds.
