As many of you have heard time and time again " help, razer synapse wont work" well im sorry to say i need help with it. I was really hoping i wouldn't have to ask this but i do. Im sure ill get the same response as every other thread that involves Synapse but its worth a shot.
Okay so i literally just bought a Razer Black Widow Chroma X 2 hours ago. I get home and plug it in and it starts up and does the default breathing cycle for the LED's. I can use it as a normal keyboard and im typing this on it now. I love the board. So i install razer synapse 2.0 from razers website. it installs okay, i sign in and it trys to update. pretty normal so far. So heres where it gets buggy. It procedes to give me a update status bar and then boom. Gives me a error saying im not connected to the internet click try again. I do and same result. i close it out and then it restarts the update process all over. I had to kill it in task man to get it to stop. Ive tried disabling anit-virus and all the other things other threads have recomended. After about an hour of researching (to no avail) i just say screw the update. And then i realize it doesn't even detect the keyboard in synapse. Windows does, says its a black widow chroma and everything, but synapse doesnt. So now im sitting here with my fancy new $170 keyboard and broken software. If anybody could offer any insight on how to fix this issue id be very grateful.
