Im going to be upgrading and getting more RAM and ive narrowed it down to a kit of G.Skill Ares 4x8GB 2400Mhz. The stock timings are 11-13-13-31 but i want to know if its possible to bring them down to 10-11-11-26. Im not going to be overclocking the frequency i only want to lower the timings.
The reason i want to lower the timings is obviously for better performance but also my current kit is G.Skill RipjawsX 4x4Gb 2133Mhz @ 9-10-10-24. It would be nice to have the same timing curve i already have but have it at a faster Mhz and more capacity.

Getting more DRAM or changing DRAM? If adding, it will be if the new sticks will even play with the old is the big question, No guarantees when mixing DRAM... If the new are to be standalone, then it's generally possible to tighten timings with voltage adjustments to the DRAM and the MC
