Disclaimer: I am a noob when it comes to computers....
-I have a hp pavilion 500-281 (has integrated graphics)
-Installed AMD Firepro W5000
-Getting no signal to monitor
-Installed the drivers, still did not work
-Suggestions?
-I saw a thread that recommended disabling the integrated graphics in the BIOS... but I know nothing about computers so I am imagining having no display if it doesn't work.
-I have tried multiple VGA\DVI cables to different ports on the PC to the monitor... nothing.
-I went to a power supply calculator and the stock power supply should have enough juice to power the new card. (the GPU draws its power from the PCIe port, there is no power cable required)
-There is only 1 PCIe slot
