Hello I, I am asking for some help about overclocking my amd fx-6300 to around 4.1 ghz. I have a 500w PSU, and I use a stock cooler. I was wondering, what would be the best voltage settings, would appreciate some help. Thanks
Also as mentioned DO NOT overclock that CPU with the stock cooler. The Hyper 212 EVO is a decent starter choice but the Cryorig H7 is an even better choice.
As for overclocking every processor is different, you would do well to learn how it works vs try someone elses settings that may not work.

And you add extra case fans you can get a small overclock out of that system.
Next up is your PSU, what is the brand and model?
EVGA 500W Bronze.
Decent basic PSU but again another bad choice for overclocking.
IMO don't do it, you're asking for trouble. AMD FX 6 and 8 core processors need an 8+2 VRM motherboard as well as a really good quality PSU for a stable overclock.

Yeah I was never really planning on oc'ing. But I do plan on buying a 970 and some people say that the bottle neck will be pretty bad but some people don't, what do you think?
It won't be as bad as people say, a lot of people see bottleneck and freak out. While the GTX 970's performance may be hampered slightly, I don't believe it will cause any playability issues for you. Bottlenecks don't always mean that the game will be unplayable. In a case like this it means you may lose 10-20 fps but it will still be well over 30 and close to 60 (as an example and depending on the game of course).

I planned on running games such as GTA V, Witcher 3, etc. On 1920 x 1080.
