Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had this same ethernet adapter intel Intel(R) 82579V Gigabit Network Connection. And had there settings in the advanced tab of the network and sharing. I was wondering if they could share there (Tweaked) Settings with me.What they have enabled what they have disabled and what has given them the best results for Throughput not for gaming just throughput. I can't seem to find any. I also Have another ethernet controller that I have bridged, but I may write a seperate post for that asking the same thing. My speed getting into websites is slow and loading youtube videos is slow also. I will try any (Tweaked) settings that I'm given. I have windows 10 and 32 gigs of memory and I have a custom page size of 6 for both min and recommended size or max.

Thanks

I have that, but simply use DEFAULT settings.

I doubt your connection issues are related to your ethernet chips driver settings.

Slow sites and youtube videos could be:

1) ISP issues
2) Site is normally slow
3) Web browser has issues
4) Network on PC messed up.

I suggest you:
a) try the EDGE browser to see how it performs
b) try another computer to see how it works.
c) try SPEEDTEST http://www.speedtest.net/

If Speedtest reports acceptable performance then there is likely nothing wrong with your computer. This tests talks to a remote computer, thus if you can talk to IT fast you should be able to talk to anything.

I usually get 6Mbps (about 725Kbps) which is good enough to run Netflix. It downloads up to about 2GB per hour...

NETFLIX is another test. If it works, then any YOUTUBE issues aren't related to your network chip.

Hi,

I have another question if you don't mind and this is on a different topic.

I have windows 10 as you know from my last post. Basically when I go to youtube using any browser and I try to run the you tube video they will play but I cannot get the videos to run out of all 4 of my desktop speakers and I'm using flash I have the latest versions for both npapi 22 and ppapi 22 and for html5 the same thing cannot hear them out of all 4 of my desktop speakers I used to about a month ago and then it all of a sudden stopped.

I have the realtek audio onboard sound and I have everything enabled in that to hear sound out of all 4 of my speakers for everything that I run in windows. It's just that when I go to youtube I can only hear the videos out of my fron't 2. and again that's with flash or html 5. I'm wondering if there is a tweak to get youtube to play the videos out of all 4 of my speakers or a script or something. The only thing that works is if I hit the share button and then I hit the embed button and it takes the video out of the youtube environment. And then I hit the show more button and it's Underneath that. Then it will run out of all 4 speakers but I'm wondering if there is a way I can just run them directly. In all 4 speakers.

Thanks again!
