I have an old computer with a 2TB HDD as the boot drive. Today im building a new one and im using an SSD as the boot drive for my new PC.

Can I simply unplug the old HDD from the old computer and plug it into my new PC once I have windows installed on the SSD?

If not, What could I do?

UPDATE: The old HDD is SATA

Solution
yes, it will work fine. as long as the SSD is chosen as the first boot device in the BIOS the old 2TB will not interfere with Windows booting.
just format the old HD and you're good to go with 2TB of extra space.

if you have personal or media files on the 2TB you can just copy/paste them from the old User Documents(or wherever you stored them) over to the SSD, then format the HD, then move them back or just keep them where they are.
