i just got a new 4k tv and everything was was good and dandy til one day i boot up and when i get to the desktop the signal disappears. i solved this problem by pressing the windows key+p and change it to duplicate and press enter. now i know this i can just do it every time it happens but its really not supposed to be this way and it also happens every time i tap out of a game (even tho its already on duplicate)

what i don't get is that the pc is running normally and the tv is fine but the signal just
disappears.

im using GTX 960 (4gb) and a hdmi 2.0 cable and the tv is LG 43' 43UH610V

Where did you get your cable from?

I've seen cheap cables do this - especially at 4k.

Don't get me wrong, you don't need a gold-plated-magic-carpet cable.
You just need a cable that wasn't manufactured by kids for the price of 10 cents.

Also, how long is the cable?
Signal degradation is a thing, moreso at 4K.
