i have a msi gaming m7 motherboard. Last night I done a clean install of windows 10. Tonight im going to install all the drivers offline and was jus twondering if I should do the BIOS update first or the drivers?

Solution
Getting the drivers from MSI via USB would work fine as well. I would just grab the ones you know you need, if there's drivers your unsure of just look them up and decide from there as i'm not 100% which ones you'll need.

So just install the drivers and go from there. I was having issues with games crashing after installing a gtx 1070 last week and was getting nowhere trying to sort it so thought a clean install would help. I'm going to download all the latest drivers first and use those instead of using the disc that came with the mobo and gpu. Then after all drivers are installed connect to the internet and let windows update. Is this the best way of doing it? thanks.

I'm not using a wifi connection I'm over Ethernet. I think it would be easier to just download the drivers before hand from the msi site and update them via usb. I've been checking their site and can't find anywhere that indicates what order they should be updated in, if any. Also would I need to get these drivers or not .. onboard SATA AHCI/RAID. onboard VGA. Intel engine management driver+microsoft hotfix. Realtek audio drivers (as i use an external soundcard i don't thin i will need these?)

yeah think I will do that cheers. can I do the same with the gtx 1070 drivers? Want them all installed really before going online and windows getting control as I was suspicious that windows may have caused the crashing by downloading drivers in the first place.
