So today i am upgrading my Motherboard, CPU, RAM and will be installing a new HDD, i want to have the new hard drive for mass storage and the old one for storage of films and TV shows.
My plan is to to upgrade the components, put windows onto my SSD, because of the upgraded motherboard, unplug the old HDD install the new one, transfer everything over to the new one, format the old one and then transfer everything back to the old one, will this work or is there a better way to do this?
