I will try to make this as short as possible. So I try to setup a raid through my MSI Gaming 5 bios, Which is almost too user-friendly. But after going through the "User-Friendly" BIOS i go into the intel drive manager and create a volume. I would think that would be it, but it is not. Once i set up the RAID and windows tries to load, it will say inaccessible boot drive. But the drives I am putting in RAID have nothing to do with the os, My os is on my SSD. I did this before somehow but i had to restart my computer, so now I am screwed. I know someone on here can help. Anything would be appreciated. Thanks!

Solution
Your SSD is likely in the wrong sata port now.

When you run a RAID array you are setting (usually SATA 0-4) to RAID mode in the BIOS instead of AHCI mode.

Your windows is already configured to AHCI mode and thus being in the SATA ports configured to RAID mode it cant boot.
Move your SSD to one of the ports on the different sata/raid controller and you should be fine.

On a side note I hope you have all the data on that RAID 0 array backed up (or it is data you don't care about). Raid 0 stripes the data across 2 drives so if 1 drive dies or gets corrupted ALL of the data on the array is trashed.

for my board it didnt matter if it was in raid mode as long as you selected the right drives and setup the raid the main one will still be in standalone/jbod and worked fine for me and it will still be running in ahci as well even if the sata port is in raid mode
