Hi,
I have bought a Zotac gtx 760 and the official website recommends a 600w power supply.
https://www.zotac.com/product/graphics_card/gtx-760
I have overclocked my g3258 to 4.3ghz from 3.2GHZ and I only have a Corsair CX550M - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CP-9020102-UK-CX550M-Semi-Modular-Bronze/dp/B01C3FFLZ8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1472656202&sr=8-1&keywords=cx550m

Is this power supply enough to run a 170w card and the overclocked processor with all of the other parts?

Pentium G3258
Zotac gtx 760 2gb
Corsair h100i v2
MSI Z97 PC MATE
1 ssd
1 hdd
2x8gb 1600mhz ram

Just used a pc wattage calculator and I got a 349 load watts and it recommends a 400w power supply. Do Zotac just recommend a a higher wattage psu because they want everyones system to be safe? Would mine be safe despite me seeing the results off the calculation website as I don't want an unsafe system?

If the psu is the actual psu shown on the website, and not the old version with the colored blocky tag, the CX550M is plenty for that gpu and a pentium OC. The old version sucked, the new version with the silver tag is good. I run a 3570k @4.3GHz with a 660ti maxed OC on a Seasonic 520w and have plenty of room to spare. I also run a 3770k at 4.6GHz with a gtx970 OC on a 550w Evga G2 with no issues. The only reason that Zotac recommends 600w is because of seriously cheap junk psus that ppl insist on using in gameing pc's.

You'll be fine with that psu.

If the supplier recommends 600W, AND you have an OC processor, aulthough it may actually be able to supply the components with enough power it really isn't worth the risk; I recommend not going with corsair as though they do generally make good quality components there are more reputable brands out there such as EVGA/Seasonic preferably Gold/platinum standad if you can.
