Hello everyone, I would like an opinion from an expert to be sure if I can to install an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 2GB VRAM on my pc:

thank you for your answer, so this video card is compatible with my motherboard? because I read between the technical specifications that the maximum shared memory is 1024 mb, and I was wondering whether to install this video card with 2GB of VRAM might create problems.

I would not buy another video card, because I already have this video card installed in my brother's pc, I just wanted to know which components of my PC does not allow to work with this video card...

The 1024GB shared memory is referring to system memory set aside for the on-board iGPU to use. The iGPU has no memory of its own, so it relies on system memory for its video buffer. When you have a discrete card installed, it uses its own VRAM.
