Need fast reply about Manage Partitions

Thats a small hard drive, you shouldn't need to create any additional partitions. Just leave it as one big one.

Partitions are for keeping data separate/organized/safe from other users, not for improved performance.
So guys thanks for answering one big partition as a / or /home because now i have it on / With which File System should i named it ext4 ? and do i need SWAP ?
I upgrade myself with a 4GB RAM and 600+MHz if that changes something.
I was with / and linuxswap and i had a disk usage problems the cache was increasing alot and fast.
Thats why i was asking should i add /home.
And maybe some distro's suggestions

The easiest way would be root (/) on the first partition of 314 gb.... and swap partition on the remaining 6 gb. Unless you want a separate /home partition. Then it would be a 12 gb root partition, plus a 300 gb home partition, plus a swap partition with whatever gb remaining. Ext4 formatting is good for me, probably you too.

Well...A Linux install is a bit different.
From your original, Windows was assumed.
