I'm going to purchase the MSI GTX 1060 graphics card to replace my GT 640 but I want to make sure it is completely compatible before buying. My PC model is here: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c03513449 and the GPU is here https://jet.com/product/MSI-Video-Card-GTX-1060-GAMING-X-3GB-3GB-192Bit-DDR5-HDMIDVI-DDisplay-port-x3-Re/6cad4c4213d04e559c081c6ba1ad2194. My main concern is that the MSI won't physically fit into the chasis but the distance from PCI to external ports should be standard right?
Help me check if this card is compatible with my PC please.

the gpu lenth on a pc case is from the back of the hard drive bay to the back of the case. if your case is standard size a 10 inch long gpu should fit. your going to have to replace the no name 450w unit with a good power supply if you want to game. you can try the stock power supply but under gaming load it might fail.
