Hello! I'm using a core i5-4460 3.2GHz Haswell, 8GB Ram and a GTX 970. I really don't know exactly information about my motherboard but it is something cheap.. I want to upgrade it because every time I'm playing something, my CPU using is about 90% - 100% and my GPU the same. It's because of my motherboard?

Thank you!

Solution
The motherboard itself, no, but the motherboard needs to support the right CPU, which is an important factor.

What you're experiencing is that your CPU and GPU are both holding you back equally. The best upgrade would be to an i5 6600K and a GTX 1070 or 1080.

Yes, you are right but i thought it's not really normal. So.. motherboard is an important factor of gaming performance?
