I have a hp 500-123w. I have made several upgrades (gpu, psu, ram). I recently purchased a new i5 3570 processor to install. Processor was running slow, so i decided to mess with my bios.. That turned out to be a rather dumb decision. Whenever i try to turn on the computer, I get a series of 8 beeps and no video feed. I removed the cmos battery. Waited. Put battery back in. Computer booted perfectly, but when I restarted the computer, I had the same problem. I tired removing the battery again. It worked, but every time i restart, i have the same issue. Is there anyway to fix the bios?
