I have a gtx 970, i5 4590 , 16gb ram and z87 ud5 th. I play games mostly on ultra (because I can):D. I play games on ultra with everything turned up but in some games get 30 fps like crysis3, gta 5 ,witcher 3. I play at 1080p and don't go too much into details (yes I love those details) but not too much, so I wanted to know which are the settings I can turn off to get better frame rates but the being no loss in visual quality(WHICH I CAN NOTICE)., Cheers!!!

Solution
anti aliasing/tesellation/vsync(optional)...depends on the pc and the game u r playing usually...more of trial and error when u do it usrself, unless u know wat exactly u r doin...always better to let a software do it instead and mess with it only when u face issues playing the game...
Some of the things you can turn off are garbage programs you have , VOIP, video streaming, etc. Absolutely do not use overlays for temperatures/FPS, and in fact you should disable any such widgets by uninstalling them if necessary. Those should give you a decent performance boost. If you can reinstall the nvidia drivers with a clean install, make sure you chose the custom option and disable the 3D support and geforce experience install.

either that, or u can also use something like this... http://www.razerzone.com/cortex
this is a game booster and will automatically shut down all unrequired background processes during gameplay and reactivate them when u exit...
