Which system monitoring software should i trust?

Im using Speccy and the system monitor app i have from the Gigabyte App center (z97 ud3h motherboard)

Speccy says my cpu is 40 and the Gigabyte system Info Viewer app says its around 30. who to trust? i noticed that the Speccy reads are always higher than the gigabyte readings

Calm down, am getting to it. Just needed to know exactly what you were talking about.

But my quick answer is, I doubt you have an idle temp of 30 unless your ambient is humanly cold. 40 in a room temp is more realistic.
