I am looking to build a Wow Gaming rig. I have an x34 monitor that I will be hooking up to it . Any help would be great. I would like to run am asus board and like to shoot for high frame rates 60+ more would be better.

Solution

in the build i gave u first...if u take out the OS, and ramp down the storage and motherboard as most of the above builds, u can accomodate another gpu...but a single 1080 is probably enuf for current generation games, atleast for quite a while...in ur initial post as wanted a wow build thats why i gave u high quality parts...
i think you have got the idea from all these builds basically wat u shd be geting...
gudluck with that...

Looks like a solid build and he can always adjust the HDD size for his liking, but I have one major problem with this build. Why get way overkill PSU and a low end case. The case is not a bad case, but he should get something better instead of wasting money on a PSU. Unless aiming for an SLI, there is no point in getting 750W. I would get a EVGA SuperNOVA G2 550W with instead of a 750W and spend the money you save plus the 70 dollars leftover for a higher end case such as the Phanteks Enthoo Pro plus some case fans.

The first one.

the one on that particular page is the build...

as for the psu, it has been precisely given for sli...as games are getting more and more demanding, after 4-5yrs a second card might add on to the performance...when doing that a 550w is not going to work...and a higher psu has to be bought along with a card...it kind of also gives headroom...but yeah a 550w can do the job if dont sli...

the case is not bad at all...its a very gud case with gud reviews and ratings and my bro is using it on his rig...

Why provide RM1000x it is overkill. First of all it is available for lower price. And will be lot stable when CPU and GPU are overclocked and gives higher upgrade options.

Here's what I can do in that price range.
The RMx is an amazing deal at that price as mentioned by Dranzer, but the EVGA 850 B2 is even better value! :)

Why did you provide him Bronze PSU that too of Tier2 and for that high build.

Because it was already over budget? T.T
The B2 is a great quality PSU, don't knock it off just because it's bronze rated.
Don't use the tier list as a definite measure of this is good this isn't, that's not how it works unfortunately.

You can decrease price while having 1000W Gold PSU:

With CPU and GPU overclock in SLI config I think 1000W Gold PSU will be more stable and less under stress than 850W Bronze PSU which matters alot.

Lets agree to disagree there, 850w is more than enough for both GPU overclocks and a CPU OC, but either works. ;)
@OP, here is a 1080 SLI build under budget, should allow you to max stuff out and still easily get above 60fps. ;)
