my question is that :
is it possible to put the gtx 1070 with the hd5870 at the same time? i need both of them to be working all 7 monitors need to display (but only 1 monitor will use the gtx) the other 6 will use the amd eyefinity.

will it work?

thats my system
xeon 2697 v4

raid kingston ssd x 2
raid hdd 2tb x 2
hd5870 eyefinity 6
and i wanna add the gtx 1070
1250 w seasonic 80+ gold modular

Even if you only use the GTX for games, BOTH DRIVERS ARE NECESSARY! Some games don't play nicely with multiple GPUs because they expect only one driver to poll. Impossible to know if you'll have problems for your software without trying though

Why the hell would you ever want that many? If you want 7 monitors either stick with the same company and era (i.e. only GTX 1060s instead, each supports 4 monitors) to minimize compatibility issues

Yes, but eventually the GTX600 will be dropped from driver support and you won't be able to get new drivers for the 1070! Try to get both cards from the same generation to avoid issues

same generation how can i know what is the same?
for example i have right now the eyefinity 6 and a hd 7870 and they just cant work togader the
7870 crash the computer if i plug him.

Same generation starts with same number (in general), so the GTX 1060/1070/1080 are all the same generation. If you look a bit further into the specs, it's much more accurate, as typically you'll see the die code name (in the above cases, GP106 and GP104, with GP standing for Pascal cards).

The issue with the amd and nvidia mixing is that neither company tests for compatibility with the other, so if you have issues nobody will help you. It might work perfectly, or it could crash all the time, who knows

That probably just has to do with a horrible PSU you have

Then why are you bothering people with questions if you don't believe their answers?

A PC with both AMD and Nvidia GPU drivers installed at the same time is going to have some type of issues except under very strict circumstances, which I bet you aren't meeting. If you want seven monitors to mine with, then get two of the same card and either SLI for Nvideo or Crissfire for AMD. That is the only safe way of doing it. Or just stop mining so GPU prices aren't staying pushed through the roof.
