ok so i was playing battlefield 1 on my laptop and then the game just froze and crashed. everytime i try to open up the nvidia control panel it gives me the error in the title.

i managed to fix it
i installed an older version of the driver(2versions older) and then reinstalled the latest one
its all good now

I found out how to do it but it doesnt work for me. My computer registers my gpu and it is aware i have it, but when i launch a game with my in-built intel gpu disabled i get 0%gpu usage from my 1070
