Hi. I have a Dell Inspiron 15-5547 notebook (Intel i7 4510, 8GB RAM) with an AMD Radeon R7 M265 Graphics Card. I have the latest AMD drivers, but somehow, the GPU does not work. I have used AMD System Monitor and GPU-Z, and both of them show 0% Load, no matter what game or Graphic-Intensive Program I use. When I run Adobe Photoshop, it shows an error "Photoshop detected an error in your display driver. Update or reinstall the driver and check Use Graphics Processor to retry".
I have tried clean uninstall and reinstall of the drivers many times using DDU, as was written in many solutions, but to no success.
I tried going to my BIOS Settings, but there, I could not find any setting for disabling Onboard Graphics Card.
Please Help !

....then how do you think desktops work....

Nearly all desktop CPU's have an IGPU but the second you put a dedicated GPU in the MOBO it switches from the CPU's graphics to the GPU's.

With a laptop the GPU is already install thou.

priyank1205 could you load up 'device manager' and tells us what you see under the 'display adapter' tab.

desktop and notebooks graphics are working differently. Notebook graphics are switching while running 2d apps and 3d apps. Desktop graphics don´t do that.

If deactivating the igpu, laptops are not that easy if it comes to clear cmos

The wrong driver version of the amd card is to 99% installed Use the Dell driver.
