When I buy this gtx 1070 will my computer overheat?

So 1 year ago I bought a pre build computer off a site and got it shipped here. Now this year I have been upgrading everything and i almost have enough money to buy the new gtx 1070. So since I havnt upgraded my cpu yet. Should I buy my new gpu or wait because my cpu might overheat because it's like $50. Or should I buy my cpu then get my gpu. Thanks for help.

Can you link your pre built? Regardless, as long as you have decent airflow through the case, you should be okay because the 1070 cards are air cooled cards.

There should be no connection between a GTX1070 and a cpu overheating.
You need to post what you have now.

No you shouldn't have any issues with heat adding the 1070.

You will find that your gaming limit will probably shift from the graphics card to your FX-6300.
The cores are slow so if you need a cpu upgrade to faster cores, you are looking at a Intel change and a new motherboard.
