Hi all!

First time posting in this forums as I have been trying to solve this issue everyday for about a week now by looking at forum solutions but I tried everything and nothing worked. Would really appreciate any help I can get!

Here are my system specs
i5 4690
Zotac Amp 1070
2 x 8gb Kingston Hyperx savage 1600
Gigabyte H81m DS2
Enermax NAXN 650W 80+ bronze
128gb corsair force ssd
1tb WD black hdd
Windows 10 oem
My monitor is a Qnix OC'd to 96 mhz

It all started out when I noticed the only game I have comparable fps to other users I see online with the same setting is for overwatch whereby i run 1440p epic settings with an average of 90-110 fps

I experience low fps (for example i get 60-90 fps on dota2 1440p when people get 160 - 200) on all other games like dota 2, cs go, GTA v and BF4. So i ran the firestrike demo from steam and my score is only 6,000 (http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/14550982)

When I play dota 2 and cs go, i alt tab and to go task manager, only shows less than 8% cpu usage.

When i did firestrike, I downclocked my monitor back to 60mhz or it wouldnt run.

My zotac fire storm is set as default.

Here's my GPU-Z - http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/16/09/01/35g.png

I've also used CPU-Z but i have no idea what to look at.. (Please do let me know what info is useful)

I've tried many things so far:

Reinstalled windows 10 (installed all drivers / bios from source websites instead of cds, only installed nvidia drivers + physics)

Swapped my GPU cables with the other 2 x 6+2 pin as my psu comes with 4 sets of 6+2 pins

Removed my cd reader (I read somewhere that it worked for someone)

Set Nvidia 3d setting to max performance

Set OS power setting to max performance

Set physics to CPU in nvidia settings

Disabled onboard graphics in bios and in device manager.

Went to bios and disabled that fast step thing

I also did the inhouse OS ram test (memory diagnostic test) which came out fine

Also did some inhouse OS (intel processor diagnostic tool) and it came out fine

I tried many more things which I probably can't remember.. I would really appreciate any help at all because i suspect my Motherboard or CPU might be faulty but I really don't know how to verify this without buying new parts. I am in no way a computer pro and I only read stuff from forums.

Hope someone can guide me to fixing this problem (Please tell me exactly what to do because my knowledge is pretty limited).

Thank you again everyone for reading and will really appreciate any help!

I'm no expert myself but that looks like a cpu problem you got there, which in this case can be temperature issue. What are your idle and load temps?
