For gaming,Xeon e3 1231 v3 and i5 6600 non k, which ones I should go for?

Unless a game is optimized for multi-threading, raw clock speed will always be the better gaming option. 6600 is probably the better way to go in this case, more future proof as well due to the newer socket.
