I am currently working out of a kitchen lol my laptop is the oven and xbox is stove so I am sure anything will be faster then what I have I just want "reliability" is there usually much of a performance difference between the WD black and WD blue or seagate?

Durability on;y as it compares to other HDD's. Won't fail???? ALL of them will fail. That why you need to backup any important data - it will fail, and you may not have any prior warning.

I have never had a hard drive that has failed in my factory built pc's, but I mean a well established reliable budget hdd. What would you recommend?

I am just gonna get the WD Blue it seems reliable enough. Some people are just overly dramatic or harsh and it made me want to get the black,but it's probably not really worth it for me Thanks
