Installed a second SSD, computer is recognizing it but not using it.

Installed a second SSD (Kingston 120GB, first one is PNY 120GB), computer recognizes it but doesn't put it under the "This PC" folder and doesn't allow me to use it. I've restarted multiple times as well but still nothing. Is it something with my BIOS? If so what should I do? Thanks.

The problem is that the partition is marked active -- in Disk Management delete the partition and then create a new simple partition and quick format. That should make it accessible.

I suspect that it was used as a boot drive in something else in the past.
