how to find CD slot on Toshiba Sattelite # 01415?

My daughter has a Toshiba Satellite laptop & claims there is no CD slot. The only number she gave me is; 01415. (Model?) We live in different States so I have no way of looking at it, but, can't believe there is no way to insert a CD. She's using Win-10. Help anyone so I can help her?

Do you know anyone that may be a bit tech savvy and can have a look at it? It's possible that it doesn't have a CD drive (can cheaply buy a USB one for USD$25 if it doesn't) but it is a bit difficult to know without either seeing it or knowing the exact product number. Also...

Do you know this laptop well? These days, thin laptops do without CD, nobody do CD anymore, kids are all MP3.

"in another state can't look" what kind of excuse is that? Kids are selfi-ing it all day long, post every moment of their lives in Facebook, she can't snap a couple of pictures and BAM text it to you? What we still taking pictures with films and fax our documents?

Also, do you know how long they've had it/how old the device is? This might help us find the device model.

If you are certain that it doesn't have a CD drive or she still can't find it, consider something like this:

This is not a technical problem. The kid doesn't want to, not very interested in this CD thing. Even if she doesn't have a CD, surely, somebody in her circle has one.

Wanna disclose why you want her to have a CD? are you sending her recordings? photos?

You managed to get on a computer, sign up, and post, you know enough.
