How to switch from AMD gpu to a NVIDIA gpu?

DDU is not "necessary" if it works fine but you may have problems which may not even show up right away due to driver remnants. Very recommended.
1. DDU http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
Takes a minute or so.
2. Then install latest NVidia drivers.

No, it's simply cleaning up some software and certain links that don't get properly removed with a simple UNINSTALL of the drivers.
I've not heard of any issues, and if there were it would only be a SOFTWARE issue. It can't affect hardware.
I had issues on a few PC's that I could not fix, yet this worked.
