from start menu type msconfig and go to boot tab...and then advanced options...uncheck maximum memory and restart ur pc...

on boot, u have to press the relevant F key repeatedly...for most motherboards it is the F2 key...so, once u press power button on ur pc, if u keep continously pressing F2, it will take u to boot menu...but your motherboard may have a different F key setup for bios...check ur motherboard manual if F2 doesnt work for u...
