Hello, sitting here infront of a formatted Pc
And not really 100% sure what/how drivers to update. Is there like a specific order that i need to follow when it comes to updating a new Pc?

Cpu: i5 4460
Gpu: Asus strix gtx 960 2Gb
OS: Windows 8.1 64x

Solution
I wouldnt use the cd it came with they're probably out of date. If you're installing win10, it should install generic lan and wireless drivers. Use them to get online. Then get the drivers from the mobo maker's site

Chipset drivers, sata drivers, and video if you want them.

If it's an ASUS or Gigabyte mobo, I wouldnt install Easytune, Charge Off/on, AIcharger, or AI suite. They'll crash your system sooner or later

If you have a disc that came with your motherboard, insert that first and complete that. Then install your OS, and when that is complete, install your Nvidia drivers (for your GPU) and anything else that you may need once you are in windows.
