Hey

Im not a gamer, but i need good resolution for my daily work such as many windows open and stuff like that. I have a setup of a 27" 1440p screen and x2 22" 1080p monitors. Now i would love to upgrade to a 4k resolution on a new 40" size monitor, but since it is not very neccessary for me it feels kind of ... to put that money only for the better resolution.

Ive read that with dsr you can scale in games so that you can run 4k resolutions on a 1080p monitor etc, but i havent read anywhere if it is possible IN ANY WAY to get that 4k resolution like in general, with all tabs, spotify etc running in that.

Any reliable programs for this out there?
And if there is, is there a big downside, like less hz and more lagg and stuff like that which makes it not worth it?

Thanks in advance
