ASUS M5A78L-M LX PLUS no post/no display

I have used this motherboard for 2 years now,it worked fine.I tested my other components on a different motherboard and it worked,so something is wrong with the motherboard.Is there something that I can do to fix it? All of the fans are working by the way.

Because you did test the components on other motherboard, and they worked. You are right on that the MB has problem, buy other new MB. And if you want to repair it may go to local PC ask for help.

As far as I know there's no such data available as the motherboard is treated as a single component in hardware failure-rate tables.

If I had to make an informed guess though, I would say the board's capacitors.
Rather academic though as whatever part of it failed it would still mean a new mobo.

Pretty much what I've already done,I've already checked the capacitors and they were fine.I guess the card is junk now.thanks again
