TP Link Wireless USB Adapter is disabled in Windows 8.1

I recently purchased this TP Link Wireless USB Adapter (TL-WN823N Model) for my home PC and i could see the drivers are installed but in Network connections it's showing Disabled. I tried installing/re-installing all drivers again and played with power setting options as well but problem is still there that i can not enable it.

Can somebody please help?
I am trying this on Windows 8.1

Uninstall the TP Link driver software, then try latest driver software from manufacturer:
http://www.tp-link.com/en/download/TL-WN823N.html#Driver

Not sure that will fix the problem but worth a try.

If still no joy, get a different brand WiFi adapter.

I tried with new drivers and three different adapters and it seems problem with my copy of windows 8.1 that it must have blocked it for some reason but thanks my friend for suggestion.
