Hello guys. I'm going to buy a Sapphire RX 470 4GB OC and a Seasonic M12II-620w EVO and I want to know if my system will be able to handle them without any problems. Here is my spec:
Gigabyte GA-A55M-DS2 rev 1.0
APU A8 3850
2x4 kingston hyperx 1866 mhz

The Motherboard is PCI 2.0 but I don't think it will have problems with the GPU. I am aware that the CPU will probably cause some bottlenecking and I will upgrade it with the rest of the system when the time comes. I'm looking forward for your answers and suggestions . Thank you for your time and have a nice day.

Thanks, I was between an EVGA GTX 1060 3GB and the RX(they are about the same price) but I read that the 470 is more future proof(the 1060 seems better in the 1 year horizon)

Probably the better choice long term, yes. But this DigitalFoundry benchmark comparison between the 470, 480, 1060 3gb/6gb shows how things stand at present. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wVM0Nb5crMM Both 1060s are superior in the results the author got.

But Neither will be able to reach their full potential with the A8 3850 in games that are CPU demanding. Or most on-line gaming on busy servers with lots of players.

Problems? No. It will run as expected. Did you have some issue in mind you were concerned about?
