Hi everyone, hope im posting to right section :)

So to give a bit of background, i recently upgraded my dying pentinum 4 rig with a new cpu (q9400) and new mobo with 6gb ddr2 667mhz ram to support (i have limited money)
and a nice sapphire hd 7850 2gb oc edition.

now heres the thing, i have been experiencing some cpu bottlenecking and feel as if my gpu isnt performing to the fullest. so i thought by oc'ing the q9400 would help but it seems as i have made a bad choice on the mobo and it doesnt oc (and i have tried pretty much everything to try to oc)

So will upgrading to an overclockable mobo increase performance and reduce the bottleneck? i do plan to hit 3ghz to 3.2ghz.
thanks guys :)
i appreciate any help

Personally, I would save the money and buy a new cpu, mobo and ram. That way you will have much better performance.
Im not sure how much performance you will gain by overclocking your cpu since its fairly old.
