I've just installed Windows XP after my previous HDD corrupted. I'm trying to connect to the internet, but cant. I've been into my device manager, and there's a bunch of question marks, and no tab for my network adapter. I've tried to install my network drivers, but I just get an error message saying there's no adapter present.
Help!

PS. I'm on an Acer Aspire 5738

Are you getting the drivers from the Acer support site? Looking at the right 32 or 64 bit option? These should be your drivers for the Ethernet card Broadcom LAN Driver 11.18.0.0 62.3 MB 2009/04/15 Download

For WiFi there are several options, you should look at your hardware ID in device manager under options for the card for that, you can do a web search to find...
